Not really. We paid £13m for him years ago, and prices have gone berserk since then.

Newcastle where willing to pay more than 20m this year mate and offer him a 'very' high wage increase.

Rafael had his meeting with Ashley which apparently was about control in the transfers they made and the amount available, and made public he was staying after that meeting, which you'd assume he got what he wanted.

McCarthy will 100% be a priority target for him, the player was apparently willing to go last time they came for him and can see a deal being done quite fast in the summer
 

The linking of Klassen to Naismith really does need to stop if he joins. It will be to his detriment otherwise, the minute he has a crap game or doesn't do something "he's supposed to" the fans will jump on his back and just write him off as "another Naismith"

...if he looks like Naismith it's difficult to stop the comparisons. I know what it's like because I'm the spit of Brad Pitt. It can be a nuisance.

To be fair people are only saying he looks like him rather than plays like him.

I've only seen him play once ever, the other night at Lyon, I wasn't totally convinced myself but won't judge off one game.
 

We need that real cutting edge player up top. Spurs have shown how consistent you can be with very good attacking players but have not won anything. In the semi final v Chelsea Hazard came on and won the game for them. I know they're extremely difficult to get but it's the supreme attacking talents like Suarez Hazard Aguero ffs even Coutinho that we need to drag us to the next level. We need to find the next one early the way United did with Ronaldo or Chelsea did with Hazard and make an offer they can't refuse. These are the players that really elevate you to the next level. Suarez and now Coutinho have dragged what is a mid table group of players into high positions. We need to get lucky/clever and find the next one otherwise we'll struggle to break the trophy drought.
