Looks like we are being very smart with release clauses. First Sandro and now potentially the lad from Belgium. Smart business and I’m in favour of it.

On Andre Grey, even though he seems a bad weapon and there's no place for homophobia I do quite like him as a player and would suit Koeman's system well.

I'm very happy with it too, but with a caveat - I hope this isn't all we're doing, as we need to spend actual money this season.

As long as these players are replacing Kone etc. with the view to spend big on quality to replace Lukaku etc. then all good.

He isn't the top scorer (http://www.sport.be/nl/jupilerproleague/goudenstier/). Also Teo plays top-matches, Onyekuru plays against second division teams and lowly ranked division one teams who are letting their young players play. It's unfair to compare both since it's easier to score in play-off 2 than in 1 (note: Teo hasn't scored during the entire play-offs).

Top scorer: (Teodorczyk) - first picture I found and also one of the most recent (they made quite an issue of that gesture so it's one of the first you find).

No thanks from me. New Orleans Saints just signed a nugget of a linebacker named Teo. Can't be supporting two clubs with nuggets named Teo, so there.

Not to derail the thread too much, but I'd place struggling with addiction and inciting homophobic violence in wildly different categories.

Edit: also, one example is offering a path of redemption to one of our own who took a wrong turn, the other is cynically turning a blind eye to genuinely disgusting behaviour in order to mildly improve the playing squad. Seems very different to me in that respect too.

While one is an illness the other is usualy down to lack of education or knowledge about the subject.
Both are usualy based on the influences and people they have around them.
You dont expect every kid from 16-20 to be perfectly educated on things like this do you? If people are around you from a child through to teenager and they are spouting this stuff, and you know no better you are going to follow suit, his exposure to 'better' types of people changed that, the lad was punished for it, came out and said how stupid his 'opinions' were in the past and thanked his clubs he had been at to help him learn how to behave as a proper member of society.

For what its worth i wouldnt have him at everton, but purely for footballing reasons

Yeah I totally get that perspective.

Let's leave the derail there ;)

All I can hope for is when Koeman goes to ask how much we get to spend this summer Moshiri opens up a chest that has a bright gold light come out of it... we don't know what is in the chest (maybe that Arteta money) but Koeman flashes this face and we just know it is gonna be good.
