Yeh I don't get the hate for Gray talent-wise. Quick, powerful, decent finisher and probs not that expensive.

I agree with all of that. He is quite Shane Long like but as you say maybe a better finisher. 9 in 31 is ok for first season in the premiership. He's not a lad who will get us off our seats, but he would be an effective player/option for us.

I thought he was crap tbh. Looked disorganized and couldn't run in a straight line with the ball at his feet to save his life.

That Teo guy

I can see why people don't want him because of his off-field problems but at the end of the day it's a sport.

I can get that as well. In a way I agree on missing out on him for that reason. We do a lot of good work in the community and he would undo a lot of that/ Purely from a footballing perspective though it would make a lot of sense.

He looks a top player to me though mate. 20 million is not a lot for strikers in the modern day and age. The lads a top finisher, I'd say better the Lukaku from the little I've seen. We should be all over him at that price.

Just to clarify here lads, he means the Lukaku who plays for us with over 100 career goals and leading the League goals scoring chart

I mean we've had drink drivers being given new contracts so would be slightly ironic to be so moral in choosing targets.

That aside how do you rate him?

He's a good player but his behavior is a joke. Wasn't really present against the topsides but suppose that's to be expected when you play in a team fighting against degradation.

I thought he wouldn't go to Everton because he's too expensive, read this somewhere earlier.

is Teo the Anderlecht striker who played against Manchester Utd, looked good holding up the ball and bringing others in?

Yep that's him. His holdup play is still good but he's really struggling to score. Until a couple of months ago he scored every single chance and won them matches. Now he is in a drought and is getting very frustrated. I hope his middle finger doesn't cost him his transfer to Westham . RSCA will be hoping this as well 15 mil € profit.

I do like the fact that we are linked with goal scoring types. I like Andre Grey and if he can play a back up striker/ wise forward role like long I wouldn't mind if we could knick him for Valencia money instead.

Never seen that Henry lad or Sandro play but they are relatively cheap and have scored nearly 40 goals between them can't discount that.

Oh and Dolberg pls Walsh xxx

Fair shout, think the Teo lad will absolutely bomb if he goes west ham though unless he has massively improved from when he was at Kiev

Bit more on Onyekuru.

” No he won’t be joining a team in Belgium at least for now despite the strong interest from Club Brugge and Anderlecht. He is going to England, in few days time you will get to know the club he is heading to”, his intermediary told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” For now we are in talks with two teams and everything is progressing nicely. Hopefully we will conclude with one of them before the start of pre season. Don’t worry we will let the world know when a deal is done”.

On Onyekuru - wouldn't be shocked if he was for the U23s to begin with.

Edit:

I'd actively protest signing Andre Gray. I can roll my eyes and tolerate players being knobs, but saying you want to burn all the gays makes you someone who should never be associated with a football club that has any self-respect, and I don't care if it was five years ago, end of. What does it say about condoning that attitude? What does it say to any young gay kids in the academy?

What does it say about giving people 2nd chances.
Andre gray grew up around gangs, made a few wrong choices, and wasent in general a good person. But he was the product of his enviroment, crack head mother, didnt know his dad. His only authority figure was his grandad who then died when he was 13 Young talented kid looking for authoritive figures, its very easy to get caught up in that sort of stuff.
The big change for him was his move from non league to brentford he got away from his 'friends' and influences. Grew up alot and made a success of his career.
He has made mistakes but seeing were he has come from, i would say he has learned the hard way
