For reasonable money I'd take both Ox and Walcott. The issue is that they wouldn't be reasonable money..
 

It's basically a club statement considering King and Bascombe have it.

Just waiting for Hunter and the Echo for a full house.

Seems that way. Can't imagine anyone paying £50m for Ross with a year left on his contract so I guess this is us standing our ground.
 

The Ox is a versatile player who can play left mid, right mid and central.

Perfect sort of Koeman player and system player for next season - League, cups and Europa- but he's not kicked on like he should have.

Saying that, I'd have him for say 18 and less.

I see this as trying to take back a bit of control from the 'we must sell' mantra, probably to stop cheeky low bids coming in. So other clubs say ok they want 50, so we will offer 30. Instead of they want shut of him now and he only has a year left so we will offer 15.

Obviously it's all an illusion as we have little control over the situation, it's just how desperate somebody wants him this summer or can everyone wait it out til next year.
