It's actually stressing me out that I can't figure out who the player/friend/stranger is.

In all fairness it could just be someone's agent. Player doesn't need to be there every time do they especially before the season has ended.

That's more than likely what it'll be. You can't talk to players unless a bid has been accepted or their club as given you permission....

There's no grip to be gotten. You feel one way I feel differently. A member of my family is currently fighting the disease and so I know just how long of a road to "recovery" it can be.

I can separate the emotion of that experience though, and others on here I'm sure are able too from their experiences with the disease, from a speculated multi million pound deal. At this point in his life it doesn't make financial sense to me but carry on and vilify as you will.

I'm sorry to hear about your family member being ill, cancer is a horrible disease and probably everyone on here knows someone who has had it. What I'm saying is that I think it's unfair to not sign someone if they have fought it and made a full recovery. Would you not want your local MP or the Prime Minister to be someone who has recovered from cancer, of cause not. If a player is fit and passes a medical, good luck to him, I would welcome him at Everton.

Would love us to be all over this one. Brilliant DM, his positioning and reading of the game is excellent and a player like him in the team would free up Schneiderlin to be more box to box and put his passing ability to better use further up the pitch.

Haha I love Gueye but he's not an holding DM. He's the type that gets about the pitch, all over players like a rash but can play. Carvalho sits, screens the back four and his positional sense defensively is brilliant for a young lad. IF rumours are to be believed, we wanted him last summer?!....
