i may get shot down in flames but i'm not fussed on sigurdsson. Yes he's stats are good, but i've always thought he looks a bit slow. Like us to sign some really quick, nimble players.

I concur, ok free kicks are good but do we really want to have just a specialist in the team,
The Jonny Wilkinson of football, though he did contribute outside of his kicking duties, and whenever ive seen Siggy I haven't been impressed with his all round contribution necessary for a team looking for a top 4 finish.

His goals & assist ratio per minute ratio are very impressive! 6 goals and 3 assists in 702 mins this season & 8 goals and 1 assist in 826 mins last season. Based purely on that, it's a yes from me.

If there's a chance we could get him I'd be all over it. Not at Aguero/Jesus level so not getting games but always impressed when I have seen him. Remember him playing lone striker vs United and he tore them up.

If and I mean IF we sell Rom the leading PL goal scorer and a player who has broke numerous goalscoring records we are not I repeat NOT going to replace him with a 20 yr old academy graduate who spends most of his time on the bench
And we definitely won't spend that on back up players
