We need to target the best players in say clubs finishing between 4th - 8 th places in Spain and Germany. They would be easier for us to attract and less expensive than players who inevitably end up at the big clubs in England who can offer mega money and Champion league football.
There must be several potential quality players in teams that have been punching above their weight in these countries. Sandro is an example of such. I know it looks like we have missed him but that is where we could actually attract some from rather than forever missing out

The boy knows how to finish that's for sure. Hardly been given a chance which is a shame for the lad as he clearly has talent.

That's the problem for young players at a club like City who have world class players in his position. It's these type of situations we should be looking to take advantage of.

I've said before he reminds me of Sturridge when the RS took a chance on him from Chelsea. If he signed for someone who would play him regularly, I wouldn't bet against him scoring 20+ a season.
Like Rashford.

EVERTON want to sign Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij but could miss out if Chelsea express their interest, according to reports.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman is a keen admirer of fellow Dutchman De Vrij, having coached him at Feyenoord.

The centre-back is out of contract next summer and Lazio have failed to convince him to sign fresh terms.

Inter Milan have also been tracking the 25-year-old but the Daily Star Sunday claim Everton’s biggest rivals for his signature are in fact Chelsea.

According to the report, the Toffees are willing to spend the £30million required to snap up the Netherlands international.

But even the prospect of playing under Dutchman Koeman may not be enough to convince De Vrij to move to Merseyside.

According to the report, Chelsea is a more appetising prospect for the ex-Feyenoord player, who would find it hard to reject the chance to play for the Stamford Bridge club.

Lazio have only qualified for the Europa League so he could be our new Jagielka, he has 12 months left on his contract and we could get him at a snip because of that.

Think de Vrij would be class. Think we need to forget about the likes of van Dijk & Koulibaly. Would love either one of those 2 but they will go to one of the CL teams, or stay in Koulibaly's case?! But de Vrij is top class and would be a great signing. Not blessed with great pace but a brilliant defender.

Kid is rapid, skillful, eye for a pass and has great positioning and most importantly can score which is what we desperately need.

at 20 m i would be placing a bid now and getting this done as quickly as possible so he can be ready for our europa campaign.

We can offer european football and they won't sell to a rival.

If West ham beat us to him then something is seriously wrong.

Sandro and Kelechi - GET IT DONE.
