Extraordinarily Frandly, it is a delight.

Fair, Reasonable, and Non-Discriminatory

Friend is a legal term that stands for "Fair, Reasonable, and Non-Discriminatory" and is typically used to describe patent licensing terms. It is normal for companies to have to agree to licensing a patent in Friend terms before it will be accepted to become part of a standards body approved technical standard.

Phil Yagyelka: “Players want to put down a marker to be part of the manager’s plans.

“I’m not sure that was the case for every single one out there so that’s perhaps something we need to address.”

Think he is just saying not every player was able to put down a marker this season to impress Koeman, and if we address that, we'll improve.

Everton have struck a deal with Swansea for Gylfi Sigurdsson – but the midfielder is holding out for more than £120,000-a-week.

The Toffees have moved quickly to try to tie up a deal for Swansea’s star man and double player of the year Sigurdsson, amid rival interest from the likes of Tottenham and Southampton.

The two clubs are believed to have settled on a package similar to the £25m Everton shelled out for another 27 year-old, Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie last summer.

Everton’s hopes now hinge on them agreeing terms with playmaker Sigurdsson, who is on £80,000 per week at the Liberty Stadium but wants a significant pay hike to move to Merseyside.

Barkley looks set for summer exit after letting Everton's new-contract deadline pass
Sigurdsson played a huge role in Swansea’s Premier League survival scoring nine times and setting up another 13 goals.

Boss Paul Clement has urged the Iceland international to stay and be a key man at Swansea rather than struggle for regular football at a bigger club — something he experienced during his two years at Spurs.

But the Swans boss could be facing a losing battle after Everton upped their interest.
