Player Valuation: £30m
One thing is unequivocal : the terms 'Evertonian' and 'band-wagon hitching, plastic fan' are mutually exclusive lol

The Times are running the same Gylfi story. Seems wages are the only hold up. Encouraging.

Everton are understood to have agreed a fee of £25 million with Swansea City for Gylfi Sigurdsson — but the midfielder has rejected the Merseyside club’s offer of £100,000 a week in wages.
Sigurdsson scored nine and created 13 league goals as he helped to steer Swansea away from relegation. The Iceland international earns about £80,000 a week at Swansea but is holding out for an increase to £130,000 to join Everton.
Swansea accept that their 27-year-old playmaker is certain to leave and have had interest from other Premier League clubs, including Southampton. Sigurdsson was voted player of the year for a second consecutive season by Swansea supporters last week and also won the award for the players’ player of the year."
STCC considerations? So much for being loaded. Thought we were billionaires?
If we've agreed to pay £25m without the usual protracted negotiation that follows our initial low offer then I think it's a big step in the right direction. So much for being loaded. Thought we were billionaires?
You offer one player a ridiculous amount of money, you have to offer other newcomers the same. I think it is more about keeping our wage structure balanced than anything. So much for being loaded. Thought we were billionaires?
I think it's very high wages, but if we are aiming to be a big team we are going to have to step up by paying higher wages, that's just the way it is nowadays. I think he would do very well here, also he seem decent sort of bloke which would mean it's likely he would come in and not upset things. Come on Everton get him signed up early.£130k p/w for Sigurdsson?! You having a laugh you Icelandic void. He's pretty good but at his age expecting a £50k p/w raise is absurd. Swerve.
Also, talking to the Spurs lads in my office, none of us can even see why they'd go for Barkley or why he'd consider them. Not a single player in their starting XI he's better than.

I reckon after last years debacle with Bill and Bob in charge Moshiri has kicked a few backsides and told them not to mess around and get Ron what he's asked forIf we've agreed to pay £25m without the usual protracted negotiation that follows our initial low offer then I think it's a big step in the right direction.
Fans expect that some of those players will be shown the door.I don't mind the idea of signing him but £25m and making him by far our highest earner would upset the balance. Fair few more players in the squad would expect a raise as well.
Be ok. Moyes still good mates will Bill. He will go elsewhere and take our deadwood !Yes gutted they have been relegated. Harder now to unload our unwanted players.
And give the lads who deserve it a raise !Fans expect that some of those players will be shown the door.
