Davison Sanchez has looked really good

Both defenders look great. Ziyech not bad. Otherwise they look like us against the RS

..he actually played much deeper in the semi final. He's almost in a right sided channel, I don't think he's been as busy as I've seen him previously. His link play around the box has been ok but it's not been the captains performance I was hoping for.

Possible benefits:
1) they probably won't be in for the same players we are (which is good because they would likely win those confrontations) - let's be honest, we are not in for Griezmann or James....
2) they may deem some players as excess who could be useful (thinking more Mata/Martial/Blind than Rooney here)

Possible detriments:
1) They may spend big money and actually improve their squad noticeably (the aforementioned Griezmann/James types)
