we had Klinnsman's son on trail (GK) wonder how it went lol
He's the weak link in our U20 World Cup side. I refuse to believe we don't have a better keeper at that level. His judgement today was crap despite the clean sheet. Should have come off his line to claim a cross and through ball in critical moments twice, only to be glued to his line. I think it's fair to say his trial went poorly if it was even a trial.

fair enough! Appreciate the summary, I haven't been able to see any of the U20 WC besides the highlights. Might wake up early sunday to watch their last group stage match then go back to sleep lol

Ha you can always record it. Fox Sports also tends to replay the games later in the day. Very impressed with Sargent, Adams, Carter-Vickers, and Palmer-Brown today. De La Torre and Acosta are interesting prospects as well though De La Torre was a little off today.

On topic for this thread, I'd snatch up Sargent for the Everton youth sides if I could. As natural of a finisher as I've seen for the US in a long time and only 17.

The Embargo (2017)

@Connor ,playing the part of James Richardson reading Gazetta Dello Sport outside an Italian Cafe informing us all of possible transfers.

Can't wait to watch it.

"Hello there, Welcome to Embargo."

That gif has me on the brink of punching my screen. Cameron first choice for Stoke, and if you're honest with yourself we're not that much better than they are sadly. He'd be our second choice right back and he's around our CB quality as well. Not saying we should or will sign him but he's a decent player. Hopefully things change this summer and our squad is well above where it is now.

Meh, I just wanted to use the gif because I saw two American posters posting about an American player. It was lazy.

We're miles better than Stoke, by the way, he'd only be our second choice right back if you're talking while Coleman is injured and he's about the same quality as our centre halves because they're all absolute garbage as well.

Fair enough. They finished ahead of us 2 of the last 3 though, depressing as it may be. Your assessment is fair enough though. Curious if you're suggesting Holtgate or Kenny is currently first choice RB in your eyes though. Not seen near enough of Kenny to know if he's ready to start. Geesh our back line really needs work, especially with Coleman out injured.

Aye but yano, Martinez init.

God knows, I'm the same as you. Holgate I'd imagine, Kenny has promise though. Suppose we'll see. Either way one will still get plenty of game time in the Europa league, although I'd like to see Holgate at centre back against the lesser teams there.

Definitely. We desperately need to get rid of Williams, shift Jagielka, and sign enough quality so that absolute liability Funes Mori doesn't get near the pitch. Plus, in my opinion, a starting right back and a young left back who'll be ready to push Baines out the side within 18 months. Plus a keeper, obviously. Jesus, just writing this is making me depressed.

The papers are full of Niang's transfer to Everton. I am lost for words...so angry that we're buying a yard dog to pair up with Oumar once Rom goes.
I wonder whether we should make a bid for Jelavich as well...win the trifecta in yard dog transfers.

This is just so Everton.

I'm distraught
