That would be a terrible signing. Milan got rid of him and replaced him with Del, and Niang has done absolutely nothing of note at Watford.

If this is the calibre of footballer we're going for, we should all be a bit worried.
Not true. Niang was their best player since he moved there.

That might be meaningless as they were crap anyway but he was the best in a crap team

I must say, the calibre of players being proposed in here is a bit worrying.
But it's early days and hopefully the quality of candidates to complement the team will improve dramatically.

Important that we put all our eggs in the Europa basket, (Man U has taught us that), so we need to get these transfers in early.

Think you've just made my point for me...

16 appearances, 2 goals and 2 assists.

Niang?

Yeah it wasn't much of a point i was making in all fairness. But he could be a useful player, perhaps not the quality of player we need here specifically but in a better team than Watford then perhaps he could be a decent player in this league.

I very much doubt it - I've seen him a lot at Milan before they got rid and in all honesty, Watford is probably just about his level. He has plenty of pace, but very little ability. Quite lazy too - certainly not a Koeman type of player.

Agents for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic are urging Premier League clubs to firm up their interest.

Inter have put the Croatia international up for sale this week, with the aim to raise €50-60 million from his summer sale.

Manchester United and Chelsea have made tentative enquiries this year regarding Perisic's situation.

However, it is only PSG which have come forward with a concrete approach, with a willingness to bid €50 million for the attacker.

Perisic's priority is a move to England and his representatives are now pushing both United and Chelsea to get serious - if they want to sign the player.
