75 pages since I last checked. I think there was something going on about North Korea in here then. Quick bulletpointed summary , anyone? Please?
All this is coming out of Italy mate. Juve don't want to sell and the prices being quoted are a damn sight cheaper than £100m.
This could very well all be just his agent stirring things up to get a better deal for his client and a nice bung for himself. But you wouldn't put it past him to manipulate a move for the same reasons either.
Lets just sit back and see what, if anything, develops rather than just dismissing out of hand.
I just can’t see how we can offload Sandro without paying most of his wages. We certainly won’t be getting a fee for him.
I`ll take your word for it. No questions asked! Actually I'm just going through the blammo-thread, Some beautiful stuff in there75 Pages?
Mate, Marcel has signed ALL the ballers since then. We are now odds on to win the domestic treble next season. As we speak Goodison is being fitted out with specially strengthened nets to cope with all the blammos.
or not
So I’m asking because I haven’t the slightest of clues but say by the skin of our teeth we get Kean from Juve (lets say for £28m) but they want a buy back clause on him (let’s say for £45m) would it be impossible for us to add a sell on clause into that deal for developmental fees (let’s say 15%)?
To me this would be a great way to prevent what happened to us with Deulofeu and Barca completely. If that scenario did happen and they decided to sell him on right away after activating the buyback for £90m, that would be a year or 2 with a very promising talented young player, gaining £17m in the process with an additional £13.5m for the sell on clause for a grand total of £30.5m gained for us and £73m for Juve.
Not necessarily though. Much depends on whether or not Moshiri is prepared to underwrite any additional expenditure. If we shift any of these players on, barring one or two, they are inferior players on high wages. Bids for those sorts of players don't usually come in until the end of the window. I'm sure they all know it would be suicide to leave any of our main dealings until after we have sold a load of players.Without a shadow of a doubt, this is our biggest area of concern... we have to lighten the load on squad numbers, wages and ideally sell some/all of the mountain of deadwood and players who aren't likely to feature at all that still exists.
Bolasie, Besic, Mirallas, Ramirez, Martina, McCarthy, Niasse and Onyekuru, and then there's the players who if we're honest are squad fringe players - Tosun, Walcott, Schneiderlin and Lookman.
And this doesn't take into account any of the younger guys like Baningime, Holgate who might be better going out on loans again or being sold.
We're top heavy with players as it stands, so we need to out some before we're likely to see any more arrivals.
The newspapers can link us with who the hell they like, but the financial sums are simple, we need to reduce the numbers and wages before we can look to add more quality.
West Ham are having an incredible window...serious contenders for one of next season's 7th-10th place trophy. Should be a ding-dong battle for that trophy, between them and us (plus Wolves and Leicester). But weren't West Ham signing him for £10m last summer?

...at best, we'll get buttons for Benjamin...I just can’t see how we can offload Sandro without paying most of his wages. We certainly won’t be getting a fee for him.
So Kean will go from playing with Ronaldo to playing with Walcott.... Hopeful thinking....
Juventus won't agree to that, say it's the 20 million and we pay him 100K a week, that's 5ish million a year then buy back is 30 million after a year, after 2 years buy back is 35 million. So if they want him back we will be making profit on fee and wages, which is fine by me.
Why because we gave him grief when he turned out for Utd after years of having him talk us down in the press while angling for his big move?
Or what about him taking the piss and not coming back to preseason so he could hot tub with his new bezzie Pogba?
He earned the abuse he was given at Utd and the supporters deserved it back off of him. It wasn't like he had done nothing to incur the ire of the fans. He's a prize bell end.
To suggest we started it goes to ignore all of the grievances Lukaku had caused sections of the support who were happy to see the back of him when the time came.
Exactly what ive been told too
