Have we been linked with Ndiaye in previous windows? The name sounds familiar to me. I suspect that a player that has been to Stoke and then gone off to Turkey for a year is probably just being hawked around and our name mentioned to try and create some interest from other clubs. I don't know much about the player but his career projectory isn't setting my pulse racing which may be a very unfair assessment of the guy.

If we refused to go to Southampton our two options would be to sell him to Red Bull or keep him, and what's the benefit in keeping him in that scenario?

...yep, we were previously linked and you’re probably right in suggesting it’s regurgitated rubbish. I suppose the other consideration is Ndiaye successfully partners Gueye at international level with Senegal.
