Think Delph would be a sensible signing if true - proven in the league, can play in a number of positions, seems to be a good influence/strong personality in the dressing room

He still could be replaced soon. To me it doesn't matter if the captain gets us. Coleman has been here since the Moyes era. It is time to move forward from that point and one way to do that is get a captain who is a leader for where we are going. Maybe that leader isn't in the squad right now.

I think it does matter that he gets us, on the flipside I don't think it matters which manager brought him here. I don't know if you're a match goer or not but I genuinely think match goers would appreciate Coleman as a captain more. You don't see him sprinting 70 yards to back his mates up on the tele. I am not opposed to change but I don't think it is needed for changes sake.

He's on £90k a week at City, he would have to take a £50k a week drop in wages for it to make sense for us, can't see him taking that much of a hit.
