Selling Gana has other benefits such as bringing in a different system in the centre and signing two younger players with high potential like sangare) who can push us up another level as they develop.

Gana isnt a brands signing and i dont see him or a few others fitting into a system which Silva/Brands have favoured in the past.

What makes you think that Silva even wants to bring a different system into the center? For all we know, a defensive midfielder like Gana is key to how he wants to play and he doesn't want a different type of player, which would also suggest why he's seemingly impressed with Joe Williams who is also known for his defensive qualities as a midfielder

For all we know, Silva wants to prepare someone like Williams to eventually fill the Gana role, and if that's the case then keeping Gana for a bit longer is the sensible approach

Meet their asking price of £60 million
Sell Lookman for £25million
Sell Onyekuru for £20 million
Couple of other dead wood sales or £5 million from a United Lukaku sale and we’re still in negative net spend excluding Gomes

Tell me again who got Players Player of the season last season at Everton please.

Digne.

Lol nope. You are almost dementedly blinkered on this issue

Neigh...

So conversely if we sell Williams that means he doesnt right?

Lets see if the £1mil (thats not a typo) offers for Williams are accepted.

You didn't answer my question

What makes you think Silva wants to change the way we play in midfield? And what if he doesn't want to change it?

We don't know the truth regards Williams, he may rate him, he may not, but we have articles that suggest he does. What have you seen that suggests he doesn't want a Gana like player in the middle? As far as I can see, it's integral to how he wants us to play

this isn't how footy works mert

Sangare looks brilliant stats wise, if we could get £40m for Gana and about £15 for Schniederlin and £10m for Mccarthy and sign Sangare £30m and Delph £16m, I think we would have a good mix of youth and experience, whilst still lowering the wage bill and have funds left over to put towards other positions. That's a lot of work for Brands to get done though
Not in a million years are we getting 40 million for Gana.
