If we are after a Leao/Kean type it makes sense to get a experienced striker in to back the young lads up, if we get rid of Niasse and Tosun (fingers crossed) then our most experienced striker would be DCL.
Kean and Leao are younger so the older been there done it striker makes sense

Er we started fine. Our form dropped over Christmas when we had loads of games.

Don’t try to rewrite history.

We were conceding goals from set pieces constantly and kept dropping points we shouldn’t have done early on. We had a good spell October/November but that supports the idea that having time together helps.

Schar was better last season. I wouldn’t be averse to him or Lejeune. Sign Zouma next summer if possible.

Don’t think there would be a shortage of offers for Stones mate, he would have a decent pick of clubs to choose from.

Going from Zouma to Lascelles or Tarkowski is madness.

Still not giving up hope on Zouma, but would hope if it isn't to be there then Brands and Silva have an equally as good replacement in mind.
