...i’m afraid every club will have those types, although we probably have more than others. As I often say, it’s a great time to be a very ordinary footballer.
You're not wrong Eggs. Bang average footballers who get a giant stroke of luck can bank 30, 40, even 50 grand a week. It's obscene.

All it took for Martina was for Koeman to take a shining to him. Probably everybody else attached to Everton suggested it would be a terrible move, but Martina got the move and was rewarded handsomely.

In all honesty it'll probably be utter wham, or the leccy will go out and it'll be postponed for 6 months.

 Everton, that.

Best be kin good!

It’ll be sound, we’ve hired a world renown architect. He’s going to be hyped up talking about this and it’ll increase exposure for the club.

For us fans, I think it’s exciting to see what all the work behind the scenes brings. Last time I was this excited was Christmas Day when I was a kid opening up the Ghostbusters Fire Station.

So we're entering the 3rd season without a Lukaku replacement. This, above all else, shows the catastrophic transfer failings of this club.

Get ready for either Danny Welbeck, or a raw Italian kid

So far around 70m received for players sold, and we have to expect another 20-25m for Mirallas, McCarthy, Bolasie and Niasse.

Invested 30m in Gomes and Delph. 40m burning a hole in our back pocket.

Desperately need a striker, a central midfielder and a centre back. Essentially a whole new spine, and the season starts in 2 weeks.

Can we get what we need for that 40m? No chance. Our owners will need to put their hands into their pockets.

I think it's two more in at a push.
70 mil received and 40mil burning a hole in our pocket?
I must have missed some major sales

This is the one thing I really can’t forgive. I totally understand selling Lukaku. And how he’s turned out at United softens that even more.

However, the lack of urgency to replace him is frankly a bit weird and I don’t think I’ll ever understand it fully.

Who would you suggest we buy tho?

There just isnt (and hasnt been) a great deal of top strikers available who would be willing to come to us over the last few years.

Hopefully we get Kean and he turns out to be a gem

You saying Russian player of the year (though he actually wasn't) Oumar Niasse hasn't filled the Lukaku void?!
