Just a feeling really, I think we might try to manage with what centre halves we have and keep hold of Holgate. And try again for Zouma in January, if he ain't playing I'm sure he'll want a move.

The obvious ones mate.

Saying the cash from those two "sales" is "burning a hole in our pocket", basically moaning about our lack of spending even though those sales are not even finalised yet is soo typical of some of our fans.

Use any stick they can to beat our club even if it means making stuff up.

THe whole world knows we are trying to sign players for their positions and, will do, but lets wait until they are actually sold, the cash in the bank and some time has gone by before moaning eh?

Gibson has played well this pre season, Got caught out in the Monaco game (Schniderlin didn't help at all with that) but looked solid the rest of the game, looks very promising for an 18 year old

...i’m a big fan of the lad, he’s a stand-out at U23 but it’s a massive step-up. It’s a position where a young player can learn so much playing alongside an experience professional, especially as CBs work in partnership. We need to remember Gibson has only played age restricted football.

Get the replacements in first would be the sensible thing. Not arsed about Lookman, but Gueye going without a replacement is pure criminal.
