I must admit that until now I have been very pessimistic about who if anybody would come in but the last couple of days I have become more optimistic now being linked with players like Kean, Zaha, Neres and Gbamin and I think they are more realistic than before. I know we wont get all of them but its more of a possibility now.

Maybe I was just lucky enough to see 2 great sides in the late 60’s and 80’s. My judgement is still clouded by those memories. I hope to see success again in my time but I’m running short of optimism

No I always believed we would sign somebody but I have now become more optimistic about the quality of players we might now sign.
