Selling a player at his highest remaining value, granting a great servant possibly his dream move, for a young player with bags of potential but also enough talent to start for us now? Seems okay to me.
Is he any good?
I don't mean he is young so therefore he's good
I mean is he good at the togger good

Malcom makes the most sense to me. Barca seem like they MUST offload him this window with the leaking of reports that they're looking to raise 150m. Would guess Everton are playing hardball for a reasonable price since they have leverage.

Is he good though? Bit of Yerry Mina for me where Barca can't wait to get shut after such a short time - jury still out on both.

Maybe neres ect might be back on as they where expecting other clubs to push the price up, already kno alot of prices are put up when english teams are interested could be now teams have dropped the price and brands has played it right just have to wait to see tho

I reckon Brands has the same business model as Levy at Spurs. Will only pay what he thinks is right and happy to wait until that price is on the table, if not, he'll walk away which is fair.

Yes.

I think that last night's team was basically the first XI for next season, and that the club is only looking to spend big on either Zouma or another centre-back.

I haven’t seen much of him to be fair, but there’s a pretty big gap between not good enough for Barca and not good enough for us.

cf. Lucas Digne

Based on about three matches worth of seeing what he can do, yes. Making it at Barca isn't necessarily the barometer for being good.

Totally get both and Digne and even Gomes to an extent are barometers in the gulf of class in succeeding with Barca and with us. However, from the limited time I've seen Malcom I'm not convinced. Firmly in the Zaha boat here. Think he would do absolute bits - particularly if he a CF with a decent nose for goal in front of him.
