I want him, but seems insane to pay what looks like £80m on the surface of things for him.

Yep it’s a strange one.

He’s never been disparaging about us in anyway, but everything so far suggests that he prefers Arsenal / to stay in a capital.

If he does come here ( big if ) would we end up with a player who doesn’t really want to be here, came for the money and then looks to jump ship at the first opportunity ?

Just seems a very strange one to me.

More akin to a Walsh signing than a Brand signing.

Ive seen reports that we value Tosun at 20m and McCarthy at 10m.

So this, if true, which I doubt, would certainly match Zahas 80m.

Wages wise we would break even, we would even make an "accounting" profit on the book prices.

I see no negative in this deal, other than the fact its complete rubbish.

And we end up with Zaha.
