I think the 'issue' is Brands/ Silva are looking at players 'proven' in the prem...

For the money it doesnt make sense when that Ukrainian is valued at 1/4 of the price...Havertz not a huge amount more from Zaha and looking likely to reach the very top.

There must be other players like this Reinier we can be in for...for me, better to buy 3 players like that then in 2-3 years we have some real stars.

Looking for players proven to the Prem is an interesting generalization when Brands has signed Digne, Mina, Gomes, Bernard, Gbamin, Kean and presumably Sidibe who have zero experience in the league and signed Delph, Richarlison, Lossl, Zouma and possibly Doucoure and Zaha who have been proven in the PL.

Interesting to me that there doesn't seem to be any rumors around Mirallas leaving? Given that I'm sure we'd sell on the cheap, I would have thought a Belgian club / lower-level PL club or Championship club would be interested in him.

it might tell you something why we've had unmotivated bad players. none of them them are getting game time and won't take a pay cut to move to another club. would rather sit around. Type of people won't ever do anything great.

Euro window doesnt shut until the end of the month, so I can see the likes of Mirallas, Niasse and Besic going after Thursdays UK deadline

Not the end of the world if no other players come in other than Sidibe. The squad is much stronger than the end of last season.

Im not sure how your message relates specifically to the 2 giant bids for Zaha and Doucoure ?

My point is that it seems clear were overpaying for proven league players with these bids seeking a push for top 4.
