He's still young, but he has floundered. He wasn't even all that impressive at the friggin Gold Cup. Diaby moved to Leverkusen and Havertz, although more of a 10 or second striker likes to sit on the right and cut inside as well. He's a but more central, but suddenly there is a lot of competition for Bailey. He was benched until Bosz came in, although I'm not sure he impressed that much.

Makes more sense to try for Havertz than Zaha.

£60mil + £8mil we get for for McCarthy + Tosun.

Irish Independent says 8.5
There was a lot of talk before about the structure of the payments so it’s probably 3 up front and the rest appearance related

Appearance related? So it 3m then

It actually wasn't that difficult to find Tel. Just did a search of posts by you with Zaha in the text. There were a 123 in total, all of them negative surprisingly lol.

90 of them were dated between today and Jul 19th when presumably we were first seriously linked. I make that exactly 5 per day on average. How uncanny was that.

Interestingly, there were a further 33 posts dating back to 2017. Wow. You've hated this guy a long time.

I so want him to come now and be mega successful. Sadly I still can't see it happening which is a shame.

I don’t believe you. I will agree that all of my posts about him are negative tho, as I don’t want him, think he’s expensive and don’t rate him highly at all. Would stand to reason that my posts are anti zaha wouldn’t it.

Havertz would probably say no to us. He's very young so he doesn't have to move and if he builds on last year he will be going to an elite club. Plus a lot of young German attackers are eyeing Bayern given the older nature of their attackers.

Probably, but the lure of playing with Richarlison + Kean may appeal to him...

Also im not sure Leverkusen could turn that amount of down or that Bayern would match it.

Otherwise, in world football there must be comparable or better players for the money.

Makes Reinier look more and more interesting...

Havertz had an 80M bid knocked back from Bayern. We aren't going anywhere near him.

Unfortunately, we need to get these players BEFORE they become studs. Havertz is going to light up the Bundesliga next year. He'll be one of the best players in world in 2 years, he's that good.

Even Neres is a 50M player at this point.

If we want the next up and coming left footed stud to play on the right side, my vote goes for Viktor Tsygankov. Kid is awesome. He'd be perfect for our right side. Check out the Euro qualifier in the Ukraine against Serbia in June. 5-0, complete demolition. Filthy. That's my guy. Spurs were in for him in December for like 16M. He's been nothing but awesome since.

They turned down 80M.

I really like what I've seen from him but I worry about the track record of players from Eastern Europe leagues coming to the PL. It's a concerning trend.

Gonna be a busy day and a half for marcel, earning a few weeks in the Bahamas if he can get zaha, a cb, rb and sounds like we want doucoure too. Spurs after coutinho and dybala, think the top 3 is sewn up but the rest of them are there for the taking if we can get these last few players in. Most excited I've been going into a season for a long time. Coybb

I cannot see how Spurs can get Dybala. He is on over 300k a week and their current top earner is on around 120k a week. They aren't going to tear up their wage structure for Dybala, and he isn't going to drop his wage demands. Coutinho would be a shrewd signing by them, though!

I think the 'issue' is Brands/ Silva are looking at players 'proven' in the prem...

For the money it doesnt make sense when that Ukrainian is valued at 1/4 of the price...Havertz not a huge amount more from Zaha and looking likely to reach the very top.

There must be other players like this Reinier we can be in for...for me, better to buy 3 players like that then in 2-3 years we have some real stars.

The Zaha deal makes no sense to me

And what if these players never adjust to the prem? That is a lot of money spent on players that might not be good enough

All international highly rated players who dont have much downside in terms of value...decent resale potential even if they didnt make it.

Seems more sensible to go for either potential world class than Wilfried Zaha...who looks a good player in a Palace team who focus on him

Its like how Barca benefit from Messi while Argentina dont...could be a huge flop.
