If Palace officially reject the request we should walk away completely, I don’t like the fact we seem to be targeting players whose clubs have fundamentally said are not for sale. I hope we aren’t wasting our time. I have faith in Brands but this all feels more chaotic than usual it’s rattled me

Palace are in serious danger of a relegation battle if we get Zaha. They know this. They are negotiating for thier survival right now. Tbh i don't blame them either.

They must be destroyed though sadly. UTFT.

This transfer has to go thru ,if not they are going to have a very unhappy player in their ranks, which would be the last thing they would want.

I don't think I disagree with a single word of that. Zouma fit well because he has attributes that Mina and Keane don't. That's not to say that there aren't other players who fit the bill, but my big issue on this is that we need a player who is ready to play in the first team straight away, otherwise we are instantly weaker in defence than where we left off at the end of last season. Does Tomori tick that box? I'm not sure he does. I'll be happily proven wrong
 

I think with all the young talent we have we need to get European football next season as it is the only way we will keep them and build

Walk away? You mean give up?

No mate, just no, take it all the way.
 

Lets just see what happens as there are lots of twists / turns / rumors / BS ahead ..... I'll admit the names / escalating fees in the last 24 hrs are not ideal but lets see what Brands / Silva actually pull off.

( There will be ample time to fume before the January Transfer Thread is posted ! )
