Hahaha. That's forever then mate, he loves the game from a tangential perspective.

Just had to google tangential, that's a good word.

Anyhow, looks like our business might be done for the day apart from Rojo. Disappointing end to the window if that's what we end up with, lets see what magic they can work in the next couple of hours.

Lots of talk of ambition, but not enough action to back it up.

Hmm. I'm not having that really.

We've shown plenty of ambition by pressing for Zaha. £70m was offered, plus players. The deal was by decent accounts ready to go until Palace pulled the plug - leading to Zaha's request. We may have gone back in or may have not.

My main worry isn't 'ambition'. I hate the friggin phrase. We've shown plenty of it.

But, what we don't seem to have done - at the moment - is had our ducks in a row. And that is a problem.

Hopefully I'll be proved wrong in three hours.

From the excitement of Zaha, Iwobi, Doucoure and a centre half to.....

Rojo

I feel we have done pretty well this window, but when I see the above names being mentioned I got a tad excited, so I will somewhat underwhelmed if we don't get another player in of a high calibre.

Come on Brandolf get the through the door.

Does seem a bit mad that we apparently bid £130m for players yesterday but today we've dramatically changed tack to trying for Rojo on loan

Either those bids were all fabricated rubbish (very likely) or we've have a change of mind in terms of 'the big picture'
