He flopped in the season he did none of that stuff, namely for Everton, which surely is the point if in this thread. He might be a decent player in Holland, and in Germany, Bremen isn't it? Point is very few Eredivise players do well over here.

No, the release clause he has in his contract stipulates bids are accepted at 25m.

kicker also reported about the release clause yesterday. They say that Leverkusen agreed to this clause because it was the only way to get Brandt to extend his contract last year. That previous contract already had a release clause of €12m then. They say the price of the clause at least doubled with the extension but don't name an exact number.

So the €25m of BILD could be a bit underestimated but it's pretty safe to say the release clause exists and is relatively low.

Would be a brilliant buy but if they get Champions League he won't be leaving to join a team like us. Leverkusen will be a top top side next season if Brandt, Havertz and Demirbay click.
