I would like to see us take a chance on Che Adams and Jarrod Bowen.

Young and hungry for the step up. Both would fit in seemingly fine and add to our core of young players.

They seem ideal high potential signings really but looking at their finishes on youtube, a lot should be saved by keepers...

Anyone else in the lower leagues worth a look?

So hat-tricks don't count now?

Walcott is 29 years, on about 80-100k a week, cost 20 million and is unlikely to start show any guts at this stage.
Del is younger, cheaper and more determined. He is not Garrincha nor he is Morrisey but he's way better than the
dross that Koeman and Big Sam signed up.
You say that, but he was only able to manage 3 goals up until this past week.

The problem with hattricks in 4 goal wins is they arent really that useful to the rest of your season. Do we want players that look good on paper, or ones that will help you win more than 2 games a year? I dont have illusions our current wingers are very good, but that doesnt mean a guy who shows up to score a hattrick and then nothing else for most of the year would help us win ANYTHING. Neither are good enough, and thankfully Brands will be looking for much better.

I see lots of Tim Cahill in Jarrod Bowen. Always finding himself in the right place at the right time. Some nice finishes with his head too. Scoring every week at the moment so I imagine lots of Premier league teams will be watching him.
