I have NO PROBLEM turning over bad players. Having bad players is a MUCH bigger problem. And I've never seen Onyenkuru play down the middle.

We absolutely need a starting CF, CB, RW, RB, CM/DM, and probably another CM/DM while moving most of our dross on - Kevro, Bolasie, Morgan, McCarthy, Sandro, Besic, Garbutt, Tarashaj, Baines, Jags, etc.

Ive never seen Onyenkuru play anywhere.

They seem ideal high potential signings really but looking at their finishes on youtube, a lot should be saved by keepers...

Anyone else in the lower leagues worth a look?

We've had some success with ex Barnsley players in the past,Holgate, Stones.

They've a CF there at the moment, Cauley Woodrow, banging them in at the mo.

Worth a look?

I think we need to go back to picking up lower league rather then Premier League level.

It sounds stupid but over the past 4-5 seasons we have played against these lads in under 19-23 so we know of their potential.

By the time in the summer we will have lose a lot of wages so we can attract them with bigger wages but nothing to stupid like Williams or Sandro wages.

What commanding CBs could we realistcally get who are under 30?

one worth a shout and that I would like to see targeted by the club is Willi Orban from RB Leipzig.
  • 26 years old
  • 185 cm (6’1”)
  • good passer
  • comfortable with the ball at his feet
  • great defensive positioning
  • very good in the air
  • no nonsense center back
  • natural leader
Southampton are in for him and were linked in January so I hope we can be a better option for him. Could provide some much needed stability to the back and more importantly be a leader for the team for 5-6 years.

Transfermarkt has him listed at just under £18m and another source states for his contract ending in 2022 he’s only making £25k a week.

With Jags and Baines contracts expiring and Zouma unlikely due to Chelsea’s ban we could most certainly offer him £35k a week.

Given how well Brooks and Maddison have adjusted to the league, is there any young talent in the championship worth punting on?

I would like to see us take a chance on Che Adams and Jarrod Bowen.

Young and hungry for the step up. Both would fit in seemingly fine and add to our core of young players.

I just posted above is there anyone down the league worth looking at. Glad to see i'm not the only one thinking it.

A bit short for a CB, but there are worse shouts out there. Wonder if we could get him for anywhere around 20mill, or if RBL jacks up the price.

His name rang a bell so i googled him, hes ex England u21s left fulham recently at 24 it seems...

League 1 at 24 probably isnt ideal...

Well I have and I can assure you he's not a CF.

On both highlights and stats hes never a CF...

Current shout, Andreas perreira from United,
Competition/replacement for Gomes,
Still young but looks talented, could take Morgan's spot in the squad and leave a nice profit to put towards others
