Yeah, but Silva wants to attack with width from his backs. Lozano would be perfect. He’s pretty quick honestly. His skills are amazing, though.

I still think some of these players that keep getting mentioned aren’t that good. I think Seb Haller is okay, but he’s surrounded by very good attacking players and they play so aggressively that it inflates his numbers.

DeLigt - I’m not sure he’s THAT good. I may get killed for saying this, but I’m not sure he’s that good of an athlete. He’s still soooo young and the rest of his team doesn’t seem to like to play defense, maybe I should give him the benefit of the doubt. Just think he’ll cost someone a TON of money when there are plenty of CBs out there that are as talented and cheaper.
DeLigt reminds me of John Stones

Linked with this lad, PSV and Dutch U19’s Striker, impressive goal scoring rate in dutch 2nd division apparantly Juventus sniffing too, can’t remember where i found the article

They call him the ‘next van nistelrooy’ as lame as the next anybody is a lame title to throw on somebody its an impressive comparison

Apparantly he becomes a free agent at the end of the season

This quote from Academy Director Joel Waldron was really nice but also weirdly made me realise just how shocking our transfer markets have been since Moshiri arrived:

"We are currently on a run of more than a thousand consecutive games with an Academy-produced player in the first-team match squad."

The fact this is still a continued record in light of our fairly average academy graduates of late really shows how bad we are at spending. Moshiri's millions should have given us enough to get 18 players above the level of Davies and Kenny etc.

I love homegrown boys playing of course, just struck me as interesting.

Left-footed? I'm in.

De Ligt is getting linked to the Barcelonas and PSGs.

Im not convinced he'd choose us TBH

Nice. Where have you seen us linked mate?

Van Nist was my kind of striker back in the day.

Had to google that mate. I've never heard the term left footer applied to Catholics before. Obviously lived a sheltered life.
The term is probably as old as me. I was talking to my mate the other day and said "it was Baltic" ( as in cold ). He laughed and said he hadn't heard that in ages.
I will start a campaign to bring "sound" back into the mainstream .

That is a very unimpressive "highlights" package. Makes DCL look like Ronaldo

If I am being honest, I know the positions we need to address this upcoming window... but I haven't the faintest idea who we should target and who is likely. Would any of you give me some player recommendations so I can research who they are?
Augustin is apparently our main striker target, he has frightening pace, can play anywhere upfront, has amazing skill, but he is not a 20 goal a season guy, but he would be an amazing signing. We have also been strongly linked with Meunier the PSG right back.
