Walsh is a good scout.

Just not a director of football.

We set him up to fail. We gave him a job he hadn't done before.

Some transfers were blatantly Koeman - Klaassen, Martina - but it was up to Walsh to agree/sign them off, so he's as much to blame as he is for praise for the transfers that paid of.

As I said somewhere before... if there was a chief scout role I’d have him back in an instant

People have to start appreciating that although Walsh was no commanding DoF figure, he was and is an excellent Head Scout. He;s the best we've had since Moyes was here...a man who also, btw, should have just been hired as a Head Scout, because he is never in a million years a coach.
