If it costs more to rip up their contracts what’s the point? Just let them train alone and leave them to it.
True. I don't believe that they should 'suffer' by losing out on a contract that was made by us, as I would for anyone with a contract in any walk of life or field of work, but no way should we pay out more. I guess they'll go in January or next summer. Just what it is.

So is this window now officially slammed shut?

...I imagine that’s pretty much it, although clubs can continue to sign ‘out of contract’ players.

Not long until January. Doh.

Didn’t we only recently move to closing it early because managers whinged they’d start the season then have squads still changing?
In theory nothing has changed there. Squads can still change. Players can still be unsettled.
We thought the rest of Europe would follow us and shut early but they didn't.
We are giving the others an advantage when we don't need to.

Keeping Niasse and Martina isn’t the absolute end of the world.

Apparently Bolasie was an absolute slog to be around , going off some of his appallingly childish IG posts in the past I wouldn’t be surprised at all if that was the truth.

I think it was absolutely vital we got him out of finch farm, the other 2 not so much

I heard ever since Lukaku left he’s been trying to be the club joker, not taking training serious, happy to do as little as possible. Could be nonsense like
