Snap into reality mate, the club is at its worst it’s ever been. It’s not bed wetting to be genuinely fearful of where the club’s heading

Give one positive, besides the stadium, about the club right now?
Haha why are you taking away my right to be positive about the stadium?

The ultimate reveal of the pessimist right there!

I posted in the Young thread that it would make sense if we were using him as a one year stopgap while ISS is being developed.

But as weve sold ISS then the only remaining logic would be that were selling eithef Holgate or Godfrey (a loan makes no sense) to increase the budget.

Weve brought in a hald decent chunk:

Simms: £3.5-5mil
ISS £4mil
Stones £2.5mil
Nkounkou £1.7mil
Price £400k

=£12.1 - £13.6mil

Move on Holgate/Godfrey as well as Gray and Maupay. Also get the likes of Gomes/Gbamin out and we have enough for a couple of attacking players. Even at least funds for 1-2 years payments on 2 good players.

But the clock is ticking and we need to make these sales this and next week while in tandem having players lined up.
We have payments due on Onana, Mykolenko, McNeill, Patterson and anyone else we've signed on the drip over the past few years. I don't reckon we have any money.

1. We could be signing Ashley Young
2. Virginia and Donny Lon have signed new contracts
3. Maupay is still ours
4. We have enough goalies to fill our bench

Everything is good

I asked chat GPT to give me a short poem about this occasion, with some prompts it's given me

Grand old team with forums grand, despair and bedwetting go hand in hand.
A thread on transfers, fifteen thousand comments strong, a thousand pages filled with hope gone wrong.
Everton, oh dear, signings are rare, the fans' excitement turns to despair.

With each passing comment, their hopes would rise, dreams of new players die before their eyes.

But alas, the transfer window remained dry, Everton's management left them wondering why.
Despair settled in, causing some distress, as fans clutched their bedsheets, filled with bedwetting mess.
