Billy Crellin or whatever his name is still around, so thats 4.
At some point people have to realise, that it is our capacity as a club to do things right that’s the issue which is completely on the board. The DoFs and managers we have, are given ‘Hobson’s choice’ when it comes to playing personnel either becuse of the interference or the financial resource available. Do you honestly think that if someone said to Dyche ‘Who are your top 20 full backs?’, he would pick Young? If it is Dyche that wanted Young and Heaton he can GTF aswell, going nowhere with this clown and them type signings, don`t forget we would have had Ayew aswell if he decided to come here....
We will have one of the oldest teams in the PL next season....
It does look like that is the strategy which is somewhat understandable but it would be nicer if it was more than 'fingers crossed' for the team and a bit of effort was put into the team. But, and maybe controversial to give credit to the board, if that is the the strategy then Dyche was one of the best appointments that could have been madeThe priority for this board since we were given planning permission (and before) was the stadium and fingers crossed for the team
Yeh I really barely count him as a footie player let alone a first team keeper.
That lad is 23, why the hell do we collect these players?
Honestly he's bloody awful. One of the most confusing signings we've ever made.
He was the best appointment that could have been made, simply because I think Kenwright has relived where we were as a club back in 2004 when he appointed Moyes and I suspect Dyche reminds him of Moyes. The appointment of Dyche is the first managerial appointment that I think has Kenwright written all over it.It does look like that is the strategy which is somewhat understandable but it would be nicer if it was more than 'fingers crossed' for the team and a bit of effort was put into the team. But, and maybe controversial to give credit to the board, if that is the the strategy then Dyche was one of the best appointments that could have been made
I remember Bolton fans (League 2 at the time) laughing about us signing him.
Isn’t he an Everton fan? And don’t we have a chairman who loves a bit of sentimentality?…Yep he's just crap. Isn't as good as Tyrer and Leban so why he was bought for the first team is baffling.
Unlike Gray, he’ll be more likely to hit the target from long range than Row ZProbably the best finisher in the squad in all seriousness
Young smacks absolutely of the lying shyster of a Chairman, it’s becoming a very familiar story of DoFs being overrun and not standing up for themselvesAshley Young and Tom Heaton tell you eveything you need to know about this club, board, DoF and manager.
The manger and DoF will have both signed it off to be happening..... FFS, nailed on down with these type of signings, absolute disaster.
I know mate, it was awful wasn’t it, we were a team with no identity, hopefully with the Dyche man we can become a bit more grittier like we’ve always been in the past. We all like pretty footbal but for the situation we are in we need to be robust and a tough nut to crack. It's down to Lampard though. He clearly wanted to play football on the deck in those first few games (which would have suited Maupay) but rather than stick with it and actually coach players into a system, we had those few weeks were we chopped and changed and it all just became a mix of stuff, none of which was actually productive in anyway.
