So eleven players have left with zero incomings.

I think it's all the aligning; not easy!

Wouldn't put it past Kenwright to be doing this on purpose, to get back at all the fans having a go at him, always been a vindictive prat, think he'd love it if knowing he won't be here, if we went down. Bet he couldn't wait to say " Told everyone they couldn't do without me ".

Exactly. We can’t hold grudges.

we had sacked the manager h e agreed to sign for, and then Spurs, a much more attractive proposition came in.

Yes he made a mistake at the time, but an understandable one though.

If I was in his position at the time, taking off the evertonian bias. I’d probably do the same.
I'm just envious of him, I wish I could do it.

Can someone tell me how just relegated Southampton are able to spend £15m on some young player from City while not relegated Everton travels the length and breadth of the country visiting football retirement homes trying to convince their inhabitants to play for us? We must be turbo screwed financially!

Because clubs like Southampton are stupid enough to agree to buy back clauses, essentially making it an expensive loan

Simms hasn’t really done enough to justify us asking for stupidly high fees as we’d never sell him and just let him walk for free next summer
The buy back clause will be in excess of the purchase price, therefore Saints would make a profit on the sale if City exercise the clause. That would make the purchase profitable for Saints and not expensive loan signing.

Rodrigo is what hapoens alot of olayers getting good money to go over. Hard for us to offer the same, still time for us to bring players in just hope we can start seeing more in and out next week. Hopefully holgate going gives us more money to use
Five seats in the West Stand.

Whos the 11th player, I thought it was 10? How many of them played last season?

Moise Kean - didn’t play
Ellis Simms - 2 starts 9 sub appearances
Tom Davies - 5 starts and 14 sub appearances
Andros Townsend - didn’t play
Neil’s Nkounkou - didn’t play
Yerry Mina - 7 starts
Asmir Begovic - 1 start
Ruben Vinagre - didn’t play
Ishe samuels-smith - didn’t play
Connor Coady - 23 starts 1 sub appearance

Coady played the most, but only 6 times under Dyche.

Personally I would categorise most of them as “deadwood”. We could probably trim out Holgate, Gbamin and Gomes on top of that and not miss any of them.

I get we need recruitments, but we need 5 or 6 new players who actually play, not just squad filler.

I know its mad isn't it.

Two things I can think of are,

1) the fact that our wages are around 90% of our turnover.

2) Moshiri has pulled his money/called in some of his debts to the club (might explain the p&s rule breach with tax).

3) probably a combination of the two.

That guy on Twitter with the ridiculous Vardy claim, in the same article has claimed Sheffield United have asked about taking Maupay on loan
