Bizarre. What form has Dele shown to justify a place in the team? A heartbreaking interview doesn't mean anything when it comes to matters on the pitch .
And why drop our most productive player of last season for a guy that turned us down and will probably sign for either Feyenoord or Milan?
Sadly also wishful thinking to believe that DCL will be able to play a full part this season. He hasn't for the last two.
Finally when did we sign Gnonto?
Looking forward to the new season then?

Would have the opposite opinion myself mate, Harrison improves us drastically and would be a big player for us, adds significant threat, penetration, danger and creativity and you hang your hat on him for contribution of goals and assists on the left side at this level. Hes established and underrated and value if his release clause is accurate.

We can take on a degree of risk with signing one or two young players, objectively neither Gnoto nor Engala have been first team regulars, liken them to Garner, good signings with potential - but we didn't see him until the far side of March or Onana who was a bit boom and bust (you expect that from signings of his profile) - my point is, in the main we need players who can impact right out of the box.

26! Perfect age. Hes 12 years younger then our last singing. lol

It needs and wants really, we are badly in need of what Harrison offers right out of the box.
But we’ve invested 40mil probably in fee’s and wages on a younger player in his position, McNeil, who I wasn’t excited about, but to be fair he’s kicked on and probably suits a dyche team more. Can we afford to invest another 40 mil in fees and wages on a player we will get no return on who mainly plays in the same position. I think he’s a good player just not what we need imo

We need to sign young players with potential or players 30 and older on short deals. We’ve been caught out before buying players around Harrison’s age and putting them on 5yr deals. The odd one maybe, especially is it’s a position we desperately need. But with McNeil, getting a Elanga or Gnonto or Danjuma on loan is a better option in our financial situation.

These hobbyist websites just feed off each other in a never-ending loop.
Multimedia students looking to put something on their CV.
It's all "X is signing for Y according to A attributed to a quote from B who is reliably informed by C who read it on Twitter having his Corn Flakes"

You do realise it’s an aspirational team line up for a bit of fun during the pre season dont you?

Holgate
Iwobi
Maupay
Gray
Possible onana

I think these will be gone by the close of the window.

Danjuma
Elanga
Gnonto
All being heavily linked at the moment,
I reckon at least two of those you think will go will be with us next season. Only Gnonto of the proposed incomings is worth it for me

40 mill?

You need two players in every position - minimum, McNeill i see playing across any of the advanced positions behind the striker. Its not all or nothing. Gray could go and we also sold Gordon and Richalrlison, in six months. We definitely need players in wide positions, desperately.

Hes 26 mate, have i banged my head and that's now old, he definitely has a return on him as an investment.

By all means bring in Elgana, Gnoto, Danjuma (and we know he doesnt want to be here) - none of which are objectively PL starting players on recent evidance - all have potential certainly, but like Kean, Lookman, Onana, Garner, Patterson etc - there is no guarantee - that they are going straight into our team and immediately contributing and those players are in that bracket.

What im saying as much as their potential is exciting there is a broad assumption those players come straight into our team and improve us significantly - what im saying there is objective evidence and risk that may not be the case and we are a club a kick of the ball away from being a championship club, so the stakes are high- so it is a risk you dont have with someone like Harrison - who is straight's out of the box, contributing and impacting things immediately. Which is why he would be my priority, by all means sign the younger ones as well. But there is an assumption that signing young players and they immediately come into the team, just doesn't ring true to me on objective evidence referencing the players i have above.

Sheffield utd are interested in holgate.
Iwobi only has 6 months before he can arrange to leave on a free and hasn't signed the contract from us, so it's cash in now or leave for free, which we can't afford.
Maupay will hopefully go to a french team
Gray linked to Saudi some hopefully go for the cash as we could do with the cash as well.
Onano I only put possible as west ham were interested in him before, now have money and European football.
That's without mentioning gomes

I have no insight, just looking at the news and movements in the market

By watching this Leeds fan I have major doubts about Harrison by the sound of things he goes missing in alot of games then has a little run of turning up.
