Lets hope it pans out like that mate.Id liken it to saving up for a mortgage and in that time spending as little money as possible on thi gs like a new car, holidays etc.
If the old ford mondeo gets you to work and back while you are saving 20k for a house deposit, it will have to do!

Some good points. Hope you are rightMina, Townsend, Davies and Begovic probably pushing 200k between them a week, probably pushing towards 250k - 300k once you take Coady and Vinagre out too. Pickford pay rise and Young's wage won't be half of that.
Also, the last accounts we saw ended last summer before the departures of Sigurdsson, Allan, Delph, Tosun, Richarlison, probably 500k a week there too. Obviously players have also come in but not on that scale, things will still be bad but it's an improving picture on the wage front, and like you say next summer the last of the proper deadwood comes off the wage bill.
You’re missing my point. Moshiri is no longer trying to make a success of Everton (because that would involve risking further (vast) millions that he may (or may not) have). He’s given up (imo) and is selling assets and banking on Dyche to get us to Bramley Moore where he stands best chance of clawing as much back as he can.Sorry mate but that makes no sense whatsoever.
So il keep a 'useful idiot' while my money gets flushed down the bog and il just let the chairman take the blame.
Is Moshiri purposely trying to blow all his money?
If he is trying to make a successful business then Kenwright should be removed.

But remember those players that were on loan such as Alli, Gomes, Gbamin, Virginia were all having portions of their wages paid and now we are back to paying them in full. On top of anyone brought in.Mina, Townsend, Davies and Begovic probably pushing 200k between them a week, probably pushing towards 250k - 300k once you take Coady and Vinagre out too. I honestly dont think Kenwright/ Moshiri give a monkeys what us fans thinkI honestly think that we’re putting these bids in knowing they get turned down, the board can then say they tried. Cynical I know but it’s what this club has done to us all.
I agree pal, they couldn’t give aI honestly dont think Kenwright/ Moshiri give a monkeys what us fans think

I don’t even think Elanga will sign for us either, I don’t think Weghorst will be that bad as a back up, we could do with a big lump to come off the bench, upgrade on MaupayNo way on earth we sign any of the good players we are linked with. Not a chance.
We will end up with dross like Elanga and panic loans/purchases for Weghorst and some other journeymen. Guaranteed. It's tye Everton way.
