I agree to a certain extent mate, but it's the age old Everton thing: we can either attract players because they aren't very good to begin with, or because they are injury prone. Very rare we get anything outside those two groups.
Of the two, I would rather take a punt on someone with a poor injury record who is actually good, than sign someone who is awful but never injured (see Michael Keane).
Of course, we shouldn't be in a position where these are effectively our only choices.

Not convinced by Gnonto and hope we don’t use our scant funds on him. His style of play reminds me of Aron Lennon, really hope I’m missing something but really can’t see the fuss (or the goals) with him.
Go get Sarr (actual right winger) and a good rotation striker for DCL and we’d be far better off. Dembele on a free and a young prospect would be my choice.

Not sure about the Sarr shout, looked a talent a few years ago but there's a reason he's still languishing in the Championship, even Watford fans seem pretty keen to get shot of him. Gnonto probably wouldn't cost much more, and is probably already about the same level right now, with 5 years more worth of potential. Could argue neither might be exactly what we need right now, but I wouldn't take Sarr over Gnonto.
Only way i could see us getting him is making a move before other teams
That sarr is over rated is why teams have not been in for him and the price they wanted for him. Is a risk with gnonto but can see he has more than just pace to his game
