Haven’t even heard there is a deal in place to begin with. Just paper talk. Unless the player agitated for a move I really don’t think we will be signing him

Supposedly agreed to terms with Gnonto but Leeds rejected bid. Latest rumor Leeds is seeking Emmanuel Dennis, which could open the door for Gnonto’s exit.

More and more I think it’s all speculation from writers who don’t know anything but just come up with scenarios they think sound plausible.

Well maybe, maybe not. Let’s hope the club thoroughly check his medical records and conduct appropriate checks if he is purchased.

We are desperate for a goal scoring CF and on paper he looks a good shout but we can't afford another Mina. Same with Bilal Traoré major thigh injury at a young age. Teams in the top 6 can afford it if a signing is injury prone with their squad depth but we have to be super careful ( or as much as you can be in football)

I suspect "talks ongoing" is probably right - all the people who say it's a done deal are premature, but there's too much suggestion something is happening for it to be totally made up. Hopefully something can be worked out.

I’d take Harrison, Gnonto, McNeil and Iwobi as my wide options next season.

Add another striker alongside DCL, a new CB and potentially a creative mid and I’d be made up.
