I don't think he's a bad player by any stretch of the imagination but Elanga also had a good half season, in my head they have similar ceilings. I'm not sure what kind of an argument 'dembele is a free agent' is but we undoubtedly need multiple attacker's so blowing the budget on one 5'9" attacker doesn't make sense to me

He had a good season up until the manager stopped playing him for tactical reasons. He had a much much better season than the likes of Onana who some of our deluded plans seem to rate about £60m.
Gnonto looked more exciting on the ball than any of our current players, and that is what will excite the fans.

True. He is only young as well of course. First time in the PL and had to contend with managerial changes at Leeds. Not ideal when trying to find your feet in a new country and league

Am a fan of Gnoto but what even is this comparison? They play different positions and this is absolutely not true. This is why we can’t have nice things. Also if you can’t see the value of a massive gangly athletic midfielder that can make a tackle over a 5’9 unproven attacker then all is lost on you. Nobody is worth their price tag. We are just going with the market.

Could mean absolutely nothing at all but just got back from turkey at manc airport. Guy in suit opening door to let couple people who unfortunately didn’t manage to get a look at into an expensive dark grey merc with efc on license plate. Plus Gone past it on motorway couldn’t get look into back seat as dark windows.

Took pic of it like a stalker type but not sure allowed to post peoples car/license plate on here 😂

If the license plate was EFC T1T then it'll be Kenwright.

Thelwell has just returned from his holidays but not to worry he will be back at work first thing in the morning.
