linked to Ihaenacho again, for up to £15m, I dont think hes a bad player, but we are not set up to play with that kind of striker, our only creativity is in wide areas. I think we should be after a target man, unless we are going to try and play Ihaenacho wide or behind a main striker.
How about we just stop doing that?

Iheanacho would be a good deal at around 15m.

Still relatively young even though he seems to be around forever, has pace, helps create goals and can score as well.

I would have no problem with him coming to us at all.

Ok, let's look at Warnock, Hodgson and Dyche's records in the round. Warnock - 1 NPL challenge cup, 1 Conference title, 1 Championship title; Hodgson - 7 Swedish league titles, 2 Swedish cup, 1 Swiss cup, 1 Danish league, 1 Danish cup (last trophy 2001); Dyche - 1 Championship title.

So, Hodgson did well in second tier nations the other two have won essentially nothing.

Better?

@lurky said they all can come into struggling teams and get a tune. Which if you look at their entire body of work they have proven that, maybe not so much Warnock like.

I just don't think you can disregard managers for having a relegation on their CV ignore the context surrounding it. Nor is it fair to only rate manager's who've won trophies as again, you could be missing out loads of details.

Moyes is the perfect example... didn't win a trophy in his 11 years here, so do we ignore the lack of investment into the squad in his time? Or when he took Sunderland down, do we ignore the dire state that club was in when he took over? Do we now only acknowledge he's a good manager because he won the Conference league with West Ham?

4 weeks ago I’d have said no thanks given the other links and fantasy purchases touted. Now it would be a very good move in a market that clearly we aren’t really a serious part of. Has his weaknesses, having watched him a lot, but he’s at least a striker who does know where to stand to get chances, which we don’t have, and not some 34 year old lump, or a wide player that can do a job in the middle.

Inevitable links to Forest will surface in approximately 3 hours.
