He mentions it a lot, in interviews etc. always with that smug look on his face.

And I have no problem with working players to the bone to get them fit, but it should always be with ballwork involved too - we're not a rugby team, as much as he might want us to be.
That was a part of the problem under Martinez. I hope that on the other days of the year some work with the ball is included.

@lurky said they all can come into struggling teams and get a tune. Which if you look at their entire body of work they have proven that, maybe not so much Warnock like.

I just don't think you can disregard managers for having a relegation on their CV ignore the context surrounding it. Nor is it fair to only rate manager's who've won trophies as again, you could be missing out loads of details.

Moyes is the perfect example... didn't win a trophy in his 11 years here, so do we ignore the lack of investment into the squad in his time? Or when he took Sunderland down, do we ignore the dire state that club was in when he took over? Do we now only acknowledge he's a good manager because he won the Conference league with West Ham?
You've accused me of cherry picking only the bad, I would put it to you that you have cherry picked the good aspects. These men have rarely managed the top teams, with the exception of Hodgson at Inter Milan and Moyes at Man Utd where neither won anything, despite having long careers. This, more than anything else, says to me that they are not top tier managers. You could argue, reasonably, that we are not in a position to recruit top tier managers but the longer we employ "relegation specialists" the more likely it is that we will be involved with relegation battles. Instead of looking at it as how many relegations have these managers narrowly avoided, you could look at it as how come these same managers are always the ones fighting relegation and occasionally getting relegated. I don't buy the argument at all that Dyche will see us comfortably clear of relegation long before the end of the season that seems so popular on this forum. His track record and the quality of our squad don't seem to indicate that at all.
