The quote was ' he won't rock the boat because he's used to working in these conditions before' or words to that effect. I also said, that he has told the board what he wants, but it was clear he will be fine going with what he's got.

That is of course, if the Intel is accurate. That we don't know. But it sounds very Dyche.
 
Everything seems to have gone quiet.... is there any links at all? Do we look like bringing anyone in?..... the pace that Everton goes we really need to be seriously linked with someone now to get them in before the deadline day.

Appreciate we are limited with what we can do, but it's so frustrating not managing to get people in early with a pre-season behind them so we can start quickly. We have a good run of 6-8 games and we need to get some points on the board early.... not going into the season without decent strikers or players still to settle in.

It's so quiet even ToffeeTransfers has no material to use from twitter.

West Ham although not sure the player will want to go there but they do have a bit of cash on the hip from the Declan Rice sail.

You’re right, when he does have info it does tend to be true, he clearly is well connected and it’s daft to pretend otherwise. It’s also fair to say he knows what he’s allowed to know because his identity (and presumably his contact’s identity) isn’t a secret.

The thing to remember is that there wasn’t a squeak about Young from him or any ITK or any “proper” journo, until Tofeenut mentioned him, meaning we got a transfer to the stage of booking a medical in complete silence. Not an earth shattering transfer but all these guys love to be first on any bit of info.

So when the links go dry or the ITK crowd say nothing is happening, it doesn’t mean that. It just means that no one’s talking.

Think you’ll be surprised. Lots of teams potentially looking for a player his profile and age especially with a year of PL experience under his belt.

Chelsea (x2), West Ham, potentially still Arsenal if Partey goes, United if Fred & McTominay go, Liverpool if Henderson and Fabinho go, big big market for his kind of profile.

Still dominoes to fall, and that delay holds us back right now, but I’d expect offers especially if richer clubs know we’re desperate for cash up front.

no not yet. First shift Gray for like 12-15mil at least. That should be the most easiest one. Then continue to push Gomes, Gbamin, Holgate and Maupay out the door. Holgate / Maupay maybe one of them leave on loan ad hate to say it but for Maupay only let go if we are 100% sure we have a striker coming in.
Gomes / Gbamin any transfer fee we get is a bonus i feel.
