I think we should offer Mina a new deal he makes us stronger than we are now.

depends on the wages for me, if he accepts half of what he was on before then maybe its worth pursuing, but we cant be paying him £120k a week like we were before. When we signed him he was a Barcelona CB, at the height of his ability, he has certainly gone downhill from there in terms of reliability and performance. If he could stay fit, he could be important, but history tells us that is unlikely.

A player we made money on? THE HORROR!!!

We sold him for more than we bought him for but when you factor in wages while with us, any contribution we made to his wages when he was on loan, signing on and agents fees I bet we didn't make much on him and got absolutely nothing from him as a player. And all the time he was here our money was tied up in him till we found someone to take him off our hands. I'd say the deal was a disaster tbh.

This story feels to me like an agent trying to get a story out to get a move for his player. Don't think we have seen any links between Everton and Dia for a few weeks.

Sarr is an odd one, I would have loved a few seasons ago to have got him when we were constantly linked, he looked like he had all the attributes.

Just not sure if that was where he is in terms of level or if he has an extra gear to push through.

We badly need pace and attacking players, but ones with an output, if I see Gray go on a break and stop and stand on the ball till the opposition defence is in shape again ill cry

Christ that is depressing. But you'd like to think theres some deals to be had with £25m:
- Iheanacho/Piroe/Che Adams = £12m each
- Elanga = Structured deal like Garner (£5m upfront)/loan to buy/maybe £15m max total fee
- Danjuma = loan (probs £3m loan fee)
- Dembele = free (probs £4m agent fee)
- Adama Traore = free (probs ^similar agent fee)
- Any number of Chelsea/City prospects on loan, e.g Casadei, Lewis Hall, Cole Palmer

Realistically we could get 1 main striker and 1 winger on a reasonable loan/agent fee and still have some money to play with (/spend on wages)

Free transfers want massive signing on fees. Dembele would cost a lot more than £4m..

These new reports are really troubling. It has all the signs of a slow creeping disaster, a trap that only we would be stupid enough to walk into.
