well we find out today. He said another signing before the weekend.........
Tbf to him, he then clarified and said danjumas medical was Saturday. He reported there would be another attacking signing, no Gnonto, which would appear to be EarNacho by Nuts info.

Personally I think his info is more likely to come from club sources wanting to spout their own agenda (and I don't trust any Sky sports reporter) but his waffle may be on the money this time

Even if he has said it what's the betting his "tactical concerns" could be overcome by an extra 20k a week?
Why would we throw an extra 20k at a kid who hasn't done a thing at the too level? Personally don't care if he did say it, if he doesn't want to play for us then sound move on.

He obviously thinks he's destined for more, now he has to prove it. My money is on that he doesn't.

I'm definitely not saying we should like, my point is that all the "tactical concerns" crap just usually means "offer me more money".

I'm not that fussed either way about Elanga.

In fairness to Godfrey, he seemed to be very badly by the after affects of Covid.

You really can‘t underestimate, how badly it can mess up the breathing of some people for a very long time afterwards.

I’ve still yet to hear of another player in world football it’s supposedly affected as badly as him. I think it’s a poor excuse for him just being a gash footballer and us going overboard after a couple of decent performances from a new signing again.

Strange as he seemed to do ok at left back for Ancelotti.

I try to give players the benefit of the doubt - but he was so bad against Newcastle at our place - that was right-back - for my money he's our worst right-back and luckily we have others.

Not sure if there is a chance for him to cover CB instead.

I still refuse to count the lockdown season as actual football. There were some very odd results all across the board. Rewatching parts of the games it was weird, players didn’t seem to put the extra yards in, games cancelled and rearranged at a few hours notice, sometimes 8-10 players were just ruled out of a game overnight because they’d been near someone who’d tested positive. The overall quality was very very poor as a result of all these things, it simply wasn’t real football. I’d scrub the whole lot from the record books personally, it was just training.
