Does everyone still think Myers is ITK?

He is as much an ITK as anybody who is not directly involved in the clubs transfers.
Because of his position with SKY, as a local journalist and former employee he will have contacts in football generally and in the club.

There is no doubt in my mind he will have information that he will not be at liberty to release because of his position and the need to protect sources.

At the same time I don't believe he will know everything and there will be activity which will be as big a surprise to him as us.

Anybody thinking that people with reliable information will post it randomly here will be disappointed.

Even @Tofeenut who clearly has access to information is cautious about what he posts.

The time difference may be an issue...

Think we'll still see a CB in, think Branthwaite will be good but think Dyche will want another reliable option.

Then as well as punting Holgate I'd like to see them consider loaning out Godfrey to a club/ league where he'll get consistent games at CB - I still like him and think at 25 he still has time to come good but between injuries and being constantly shifted positionally he's not had the run of games to progress from the player he looked under Ancelotti. Send him somewhere like Leeds or Celtic, or even France or Holland and get him a season under his belt then re-assess.

We will still have to pay Gbamin if Warrington stays and pay Warrington as well, play neither and then in time lose Warrington for nothing.... does not sound like a great business plan.

I mean it's not great but I think thats managable if either we get another CF OR DCL can stay fit (lol) and we steer clear of any other ACON participants

Look at the guy who Ajax signed from Rangers last season.

Yeah, that's part of my thinking. Still a good age, send him to Scotland or over to PSV or whoever and let him recover form and confidence against inferior sides for a year. He'll either come back a usable option or will at least look good enough to get some coin.
