Did the injuries ruin Gbamin or was he just another poor piece of recruitment ultimately?

Even when fit we had a few managers who never considered him a realistic option, even when we were massively short.

Also seems like he hasn't really planted any big flags out on loan - laterally in Turkey i think hes been in and out of the team.
Impossible to say. Probably some of both, but he never got the kind of run in the Prem he would have needed to develop. Pushing players around in the Bundesliga is one thing, but is another in the Prem. Without a doubt, the injuries ruined any shot he had.

i'd accept 15 pence for Maupay to be honest! it would be staggering if we actually got 15 mill for him..
Would snap hand off for 15 million. That would go a long way towards curing problems this summer.

Be a bit fair fetched to think we could do anything with Shalke with Gbamin and the Krauss lid, wouldnt it....

Be stunning if we managed to get Gbamin, Gomes and Dele off the wage bill this summer.....

Simply got to get the wages off the books, unless of course Dyche wanted to take a look at them (you never know).
I think Gomes might be easiest to shift as he's had a decent season in France (wages obviously could be a stumbling block)

Dele and Gbamin I think we'll struggle and will again be loans to see out their contract.

His stats are really consistent though mate so seem less dependent on variance like decisions awarded- i actually didnt look and see what % of goals are set pieces - do you know?

I see him going for about 40 mill tbh - its the going rate for his profile. Teams will want him for sure and you are buying double digits or close to it coming from central midfield - probably more given he will be moving to a better team with better players.
Just had a gander... He's scored 2 pens and 3 direct free kicks this season, so more than half of his goals.

Last season he scored 4 pens and 4 free kicks. So only 2 from open play ( I think you said he had 10 in total? )

Would be interested to see him at a spurs etc, but I don't think he'll go that "high" be someone like west ham or something I reckon

He doesn't convince me tbh

Nor me. I dont see what the fuss is about.

Signed for £12mil on a 3 year deal so anything above £8mil is profit on the books

Schalke have been relegated so his buy clause hasnt been triggered

Leipzig are the ones we have to deal with.

The three lads are in the last year of their deals so they will have to look at it mate - sometimes a three year deal is better value elsewhere then a one year of wages somewhere else.

I can see us settling with Dele mate. Split the difference on his contract and he can head off for Inter Miami.

Gbamin's agent looks at it - i think we'd be happy just get him of the books now. Even a loan with a nominal fee, means he wont be back.

Hopefully Lille do something with Gomes.

Kev does seem able to shift players - point 37 of the Kev plan.

Gbamin's agent giving it socks:

"We will have to find another project for him. I am the one who chose Everton for him because it would have been a stepping stone to move on elsewhere.

"There was interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and even Jurgen Klopp wanted to sign him for Liverpool six months before but now Jean-Philippe wants to go back to Germany."

Some shocking purchases there hahaha

Harsh on Kean as we got our money back and mina who has served us well. The rest though WOW
Kean I think we got lucky and Mina was plagued with injuries and had issues before we purchased him (I think) plus his salary was insane.

Crazy business eh 🤦‍♂️
