Slim pickings this morning mates.

Welcome to the 23rd July Everton transfer 💩 show…..

I’ve bundled together various transfer rumours flying around, combining them into one bite size and heart burn inducing portion for your dining pleasure.

Not all or indeed any of the sauces and articles used are of any discernible quality,

Watford's Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr, 25, is closing in on a move to Marseille despite interest from Everton. The transfer would not affect Marseille's pursuit of Sarr's compatriot, 23-year-old Sheffield United forward Iliman Ndiaye. (FootMercato - in French)

Everton are battling Marseille in the race to sign Watford winger Ismaila Sarr this summer, according to an exclusive by Santi Aouna. The Foot Mercato journalist took to Twitter to claim [22 July] that Marseille already had an offer on the table for him.

Everton have completed the signature of Arnaut Danjuma from Villarreal on loan for the 2023/24 season, according to Fabrizio Romano. The journalist reported via his personal Twitter account on Sunday (23 July) that the player has completed his medical and the documents for the transfer have been signed.

Everton will pay Villarreal £3.6million to complete the loan signing of Arnaut Danjuma, which is set to be complete any minute, according to Mediterraneo.

The Spanish newspaper has reported in its print edition [23 July, pg 40 & 41] that the attacker is already on Merseyside ahead of the move being announced.

Everton may be plotting a move for Boulaye Dia if they can shift Neal Maupay to Serie A. According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Salernitana are interested in a move for Maupay, which could open up the possibility for both clubs to do business given the Toffees' interest in the Senegalese

Fulham are ready to pay £7million to sign Everton attacker Demarai Gray this summer, according to Alan Nixon. The newspaper journalist reported on his Patreon on 23 July that the Cottagers are willing to make their move as they look to snatch the Jamaican international.

Al Ettifaq are in the process of trying to sign Everton target Moussa Dembele and are making progress, with a deal firmly in the offing.

Sunderland target Tom Cannon has been spotted at former loan club Preston North End. The striker was absent from both of Everton's friendlies over the weekend as per our sister title Liverpool World.

Everton are better off signing Alfredo Morelos instead of their £35m striker target, journalist Dean Jones has told GIVEMESPORT. According to the Daily Mirror, Everton are keen on Almeria's El Bilal Toure, who is valued at £34m by his club. However, Jones thinks Morelos would be the safer bet and possibly a better match for Dyche.

Unfortunately Dean glossed over the fact that Morelos is shyte and shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence as Everton.

Just Danjuma then? No Christmas Day, or hot prospects, or “striker next 🔵” or players with R’s? I, for one, am shocked. Don’t know who’s more foolish, the people who peddle the Club’s nonsense or us for lapping it up.

The lad stopped training with them to force a move. We put a bid in of £15mill. They would've wanted more and the player was willing to move. He was a bench player the previous season and had a lot of injuries.

Personally think if we'd have sold Gordon and bumped up the bid to £25mill, he'd have been in a blue shirt.

The deal agreed was a loan mate. Joyce and co came out and said as much.

7m is a bit less than I thought, even though it's probably about right. (I dunno how to link I guess)
