Don't know why we do this to ourselves honestly...

6 months ago we lost out on all our Jan targets to the likes of Southampton and Bournemouth. We aren't an attractive proposition, players are not excited by the idea of playing in a Dyche team and on top of that we're broke.

We were never convincing EBT to join us over Atalanta and should have moved on when it became clear that they were pushing for him.

Not wanting to add to the negativity in here but what else can you say?
Did we? The club had zero intentions of buying anyone in Jan so I don’t think we did.

Even if we did. Fat lot of good it did Saints. They are welcome to them.

"According to rumors gathered by our editorial staff, Everton has resumed contact with Salernitana and has asked sports director Morgan De Sanctis for a meeting to talk about Boulaye Dia. The English club, as known, had decided not to buy him through a clause considering the figure of 25 million euros excessive and, in this second phase, has the possibility of including in the negotiation a player who the ds granata likes a lot and who has expressed his desire to play his cards in the Italian championship. We are obviously talking about Neal Maupay, one step away from Salernitana already last summer before the president Danilo Iervolino decided to invest almost 10 million euros (between price tag and salary) for Federico Bonazzoli. Maupay is back from a negative season (only one goal scored) and has a great desire for redemption, Salerno would represent the ideal springboard for (re)launching and a great professional opportunity. The company lets it be known that they will try to bring him into the grenade only if Dia were to leave; vice versa, the bet would be on a player with different characteristics and on a couple of tall wingers who can also play behind the striker in the case of a 3-4-2-1. Fiorentina remains vigilant about Dia, while Milan have let go. The last word could go to Paulo Sousa who, as known, Dia would keep him very close. But with such an operation there could be a capital gain for Salernitana with the possibility of signing a strong striker. The decision will be made within about ten days, because after August 15 the Senegalese bomber could be taken off the market. As for Dovbyk and Piroe, there is an economic problem. In the first case, the request is for almost 10 million euros, in the second, Iervolino is inclined towards a loan with the right to buy, while Swansea would like the obligation. Far parts."

Yes sounds like £10-15mil + Maupay gets a conversation going.

i THINK IT IS MORE ABOUT THE TERMS THAN ANYTHING ELSE

What use would you have for him?
To score goals :) We have Watkins and two other strikers that are both inexperienced. Ideally, a team should have 4 strikers imo so we need one more. If Watkins gets injured we need cover. Having 3 inexperienced players is better than having two :) But he is one for the future, looks to have a very high ceiling and is linked with elite clubs. I would not be happy if Forest manage to pull off a deal for him as it would suggest he is gettable

Both the Echo and Joyce are still mentioning Brobbey, so along with Vinny from Sky it's safe to say that's a name coming out of the club. He's happy, and not pushing for a move apparently, but that's not the same as refusing a move.

Echo also mentioning Jebbison interest again.
Brobbey's highlight reel makes Niasse look like prime Ian Wright.

Jebbison not good enough for Sheff Utd & loaned to Chorley & Burton.

Same old , Same old.

LOL what. In my entire life I’ve never known us to have 4 starting quality strikers at any one time.
