To score goals We have Watkins and two other strikers that are both inexperienced. Ideally, a team should have 4 strikers imo so we need one more. If Watkins gets injured we need cover. Having 3 inexperienced players is better than having two But he is one for the future, looks to have a very high ceiling and is linked with elite clubs. I would not be happy if Forest manage to pull off a deal for him as it would suggest he is gettable

Yeah, but we can't claim to have quality strikers. We have Watkins that got 15 last season. Other than that Archer looks good but he played 43 mins of PL football over 6 sub appearances and Duran has 12 sub appearances some of which were only 1 min long. They both have potential but we are dependent on Watkins keeping fit and scoring goals. If Watkins gets a serious injury Villa would look fairly naive not having a backup striker
